The customer’s indoor cellular setup struggled to obtain a usable connection at the RV site.
The Installed Solution
Installed and aligned an outdoor directional LTE unit, connecting it to the customer’s compatible existing router.

Download/upload speeds improved from 2/0.5 to 36/10 Mbps, and latency decreased from 130 to 52 ms while retaining the existing router.
Equipment Details
Outdoor MikroTik SXT LTE directional unit (SXTR) connected to a compatible customer-supplied router. Proposed mounting arrangement: custom mast fitted to the RV, as agreed in the quote. Weather-resistant cabling and suitable power equipment supplied as specified.
Performance Notes
Confirm comparable before-and-after measurements. Existing-router capability and Wi-Fi coverage may limit device speeds.
Customer Feedback
Our indoor setup had trouble getting a usable signal at this site. The outdoor unit improved the connection, and we were able to keep using our existing router.
