Rural Location. Everyday Internet Needs.

Your address shouldn’t make staying connected a daily struggle.

Limited wired options

Cable or fiber may be unavailable, leaving few practical choices.

Weak indoor signal

Walls, roofing, trees, and terrain can affect cellular reception.

Connections that interrupt your day

Unstable service can disrupt calls, work, and everyday browsing.

A household sharing one connection

Multiple devices need a setup and plan suited to your usage.

Find the Connection That Fits Your Property

A phone’s indoor reception doesn’t tell the whole story. Outdoor directional equipment can access a stronger cellular signal when suitable coverage is available. We consider nearby towers, supported bands, terrain, and installation options to recommend a setup for your property.

Rural Internet Questions, Answered

Can this work if my phone has weak signal indoors?
Often, yes. Walls, metal roofing, and other building materials can weaken indoor reception. A high-gain directional outdoor antenna may access a stronger signal and improve connectivity. Results depend on available towers, supported bands, terrain, distance, and local signal conditions. We assess your location before recommending a setup.
Are carrier plans included, and how much does it cost?
No. You pay the cellular carrier directly for your monthly data plan. During your location review, we assess compatible carrier options and recommend the most cost-effective data plans for your household needs. Monthly costs depend on the carrier and selected plan, including data allowances, prioritization, video restrictions, and contract terms.
How much does an SXTR Connect solution cost?
A remote pre-assessment is always free. Most installations total approximately $500–$1,250, including installation labor, LTE/5G equipment, and standard materials. An on-site assessment is typically $50–$100, depending on travel distance. Masts, poles, or other special materials may increase the cost. Customers may use their own Wi-Fi router, or we can provide one starting at $50. Carrier service plans are billed separately. You’ll receive a clear quote before any work begins.
How do you select a carrier?
We evaluate T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and compatible mobile service providers using available coverage information, nearby towers, approximate distances, likely LTE/5G bands, terrain, and your connectivity needs. Coverage information is a starting point; on-site measurements help confirm actual conditions when needed. Changing carriers later may be possible where the equipment and selected plan support it.
What does installation involve?
Installation typically includes checking the signal, selecting a suitable mounting position, mounting and aligning the outdoor antenna, routing cabling, and configuring the supplied equipment, including a MikroTik router where specified in your quote. We test the installed connection before handover. Customers may use their own router; compatibility and connection requirements are agreed in advance. Customers are responsible for configuring and managing their own devices and BYOD equipment.
What speeds can I expect?
We cannot guarantee an exact speed. Before installation, we assess your location and explain expected performance so you can make an informed decision. Actual speeds depend on signal quality, available bands, tower capacity, congestion, equipment, and carrier service. We test performance during installation. Carrier data allowances, prioritization, and video restrictions may also affect your experience.
Can I use it as backup internet?
Yes. A suitable LTE/5G connection can provide backup when your primary service fails. Automatic switching requires an appropriately configured MikroTik router supplied by us, or other equipment that supports failover. If your router does not support failover, manual switching may be possible by reconnecting the internet cable, as agreed in your installation quote. Switching may interrupt active calls or sessions. Backup availability depends on cellular coverage and network conditions.
What support is included after installation?
Your installation includes 30 days of support, starting when installation is completed, for issues related to the equipment we supply and our installation and configuration. We investigate reported problems and correct installation-related faults. Optional paid managed-connectivity plans provide broader, ongoing support as defined in your quote or support agreement. These plans may include connection and device monitoring, service alerts, remote troubleshooting, configuration assistance, and performance follow-up. Support-plan charges are separate from your carrier subscription, and pricing is confirmed before activation. Customers remain responsible for their own devices and BYOD equipment. Carrier availability, speeds, and plan restrictions remain outside our control.
